Electroporation
Electroporation is a method for delivering substances containing molecules smaller than 40,000 Daltons through cell membranes. An electronic pulse disrupts the phospholipid bilayer, creating temporary pores in the skin's surface. This allows drugs to penetrate into the cells via these pores. The fundamental principle of electroporation is that the pores close once the electronic pulse ceases. Importantly, electroporation does not alter the biological structures or functions of the cells, making it a non-chemical approach for introducing DNA and various external substances into living cells.

Electroporation
